Since the first day I spent in class with Jessica, it was an immediate shift in my perspective in how to arrive in my body and how to engage in movement. I initially came to Jessica’s class for interest in deepening my yogic practice and comprehension of this form of movement, and I got SO much more! The way Jessica is able to cue, and explain movement sequences feel like you have your own personal mentor throughout her classes. Her Somatic Yoga is a treat not only to realize the relationships in different parts of your body, but how the movement changes your spirit, and how you access that movement without just posturing yourself into poses. I feel like the style of yoga Jessica teaches has affected not only my practice in yoga, but my practice in how I’m moving and experiencing my body and in my life.

Jessica’s classes are for someone who is interested in exploring new possibilities in movement. I have been taking Jessica’s classes for 3 years now. Her classes help me to understand different connections, new pathways and different ways to achieve ease in my movement. I use this information in other classes and in my daily life. It has made movement easier for me. This class has brought a new dimension to my understanding of movement.
